Honor Recipients Program

We honor graduating students who have excelled in academic achievement as well as those who have contributed their service in volunteer leadership positions on campus and in the community.

Dean of Students Honor Recipient Program

This program recognizes the exceptional students who maintain high scholastic performance while actively participating in university and community leadership and service activities outside of the classroom.

Nominations are now closed for Spring 2025 graduates

If you know a student graduating this semester who has at least a 3.25 cumulative GPA and is deserving of this honor, please submit the honor recipient nomination form (PDF) by Friday, March 14, 2025 at 5 pm by email. Please note that the student you nominate will need to provide a current resume and a personal statement reflecting on the volunteer service they have contributed to the university and/or community. Please call 816-235-1560 if you have a question about whether a particular student is eligible.
